Ackbar say Relax

Recently I had a table massage.

My wife found out about Groupon, and like most people when they first learned about Groupon, bought a bunch of bargain deals. She came across a discounted massage and bought one for both of us.

For some reason, I was really intimidated by this whole thing. There was a form that I was supposed to check off where she was allowed to touch me. I left about half of the items blank.

Stuck in a rut?

Recently I was talking to someone close to me, who is going through some life changes. I noticed that every few years his life seems to get a complete reset. The girl he is in a relationship with bails for whatever reason, he experiences a job change, and his friends seem to fall away. All at once.

Like the legendary phoenix, he always rises from these circumstances and will get a new cast of people in his life, a new job, and usually start dating someone a little better.

Stop Talkin’ Trash!

Last year I came up with the idea of not saying a negative thing about another human being as my 2014 resolution. It met received mixed reviews. Some thought it was amazing, some were taken away by the idea and some thought it was stupid and unrealistic. But the more I talked about it, the more I realized it was something important that I had to do.

A year in review and a look ahead.

I love New Years’. My full-time job is in the personal development industry, so I look at this as the holiday of goal-setting. It is amazing to see what you can do in the year by doing (or not doing) little things each day at a time. A year is a great span of time to measure how you are developing as a human being. With that in mind here is what I set out to do in 2013 and how I did.
